Upon arrival in Wesel we were quite amazed to see our very close friend (and Boy Omega orchestra member) Per-Ola "Olis" Eriksson sitting all alone on a sidewalk in the centre of town. Turns out he'd been in a bee swarm accident and was not capable of having a proper conversation. Poor kid. Look at him go!
Thank you nice people of Wesel who came to the show. I enjoyed it a lot. Nice to see so many people buying the vinyl version of the new album!
Big thanks to Mathias and the rest of the Karo-crew for taking good care of us and serving some really nice food. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera in the backstage room, so I only have one picture from the evening. Then again, it might just be the very best tour picture ever taken. Enjoy!
Entering the stage at the Play Winter Festival in Hamburg, I realised it was probably not the wisest decision to begin the show solo and acoustic. For the first time in my life, I got a beer thrown at me, and this before I'd even started playing the first song. Very polite. Makes you feel welcome and all warm inside. Well well... After a while the loudest, most drunk and disturbing people left the building to go crazy on the acid-house-trance-techno-megafon-megamix dance floor next door. Some of them left for the cockfight party over at Trutti Frutti.
Big thanks to the audience who stayed and were actually there to listen to Boy Omega. Here's a video from the show. I play the song "Nobody's fault" from my 2006 album "The Black Tango". As you can hear in the background, some cockfight techno people had not yet left the building.
Fill my belly with your whispering.
Porno Action Figures
After the show, we had some chinese food and chinese beer. It was nice. The best thing about the dinner however was that Bille somehow managed to get completely stuck with his arms in his jacket and his jacket in his chair and couldn't move whatsoever. Of course, I came to his rescue after a couple of hours. In the first picture you see above, he's stuck and crying out for help.
The audience + Bille and his brand new hair cut.
Big thanks to Joey and the sound guy for taking good care of us.
When entering the venue Subrosa in Dortmund, I was very surprised to find my old table tennis trophy's hiding behind the stage, but suddenly I recalled my own mother's voiceover telling me "Jacob Hard, Steamboat Wille and Christer Ulfbow came over yesterday and said they needed to borrow your tischtennis trophy's over the weekend. They were going to visit the tischtennis trophy and washing machine festival in Dortmund", and all of a sudden it all made sense.
Thanks to the people who came to the show and listened. I swear you could hear a needle drop or at least a hair net fall to the floor. Very nice. Special thanks to Cornel for having us and to Nicko for serving us some really nice food. Great black olives! Thanks also to the DJ's and our support act Jonas from the band Black Rust. It was a pleasure meeting you.
Hyresgästföreningen i Hamburg.
Bille undrar hur långt tid den här turnén hade tagit på 1800-talet? Varsin kälke på Autobahn.
Basel was really nice. We were supposed to play at the venue Kaserne, but since there was a show with two other scandinavian acts (Marie Fisker from Denmark and Helgi Jonsson from Iceland) playing the same night at the venue Kuppel, the two venues decided to put us on the same bill, so that people wouldn't have to choose where to go. A wise choice I think, cause the night turned out really good. Beautiful venue, great catering and great music. What else can you ask for?

Thanks to Steffi and Sandro for putting together the whole shebang. Thanks to Marie and Helgi. It was a pleasure meeting you and playing together. Let's do it again some time in the future! Thanks to Lena and Michelle for the interview and for filming our show in HD. I'm looking forward to seeing/hearing it.
Last but not least, thanks to the great audience and the woman at the hotel for making Rickard feel good about his hair in the morning, even though he'd lost his much treasured golden green hair net.
Today I turn 32 and tonight we're playing at the Mariaberg in Rorschach, Switzerland, Europe, the Universe. You have to come. Jacob Hard (the little sports mirror) says so.
Upon arrival in Rosenheim, we found out that there was not just a german city called Rosenheim, but also a Rosenheim in Paraguay. This made us shake and tremble like two aspen leafs. After studying the map for a while, we however both agreed that there was no chance in hell we could've driven from Austria to Latin America in just two hours.
Thanks to all the nice people in the audience for coming out to the show, considering it was a monday (and of course also considering that the movie "Reine and Mimmi in fjällen" was broadcasted on national tv the same night).
Both me and Rickard really enjoyed playing. For me personally, it was probably my best performance so far on this tour. That's viellicht also the reason why we played for almost two hours. Special thanks to Laura, Anna and the great surgent/soundman for taking good care of us. Thanks also to the nice bartender for serving superb fleischwasser.
Danke Kaspar for filming parts of the show, danke Karmello Brooks guy (I'm bad with names, but I remember faces) who joined us for the suicide after party at the hotel. Last but not least, big hugs and kisses to the man in the hotel lobby for unbuttoning his lederhosen in such a charming, polite and delightful way at the breakfast table.
On our way from Schaerding to Feldkirch we got stuck in traffic. And I mean really stuck. We drove 6 kilometers in 2 hours. Happy times!
Since we were late when we finally arrived, we decided I should do the full set solo. No drums, no Roland, no Bille.
Thanks to everyone who came to the show. I really enjoyed playing. Extra special thanks to the two brothers for running the whole thing and the rest of the Sonderbar-crew. We had a really nice time. Also: the food at your restaurant was top notch.
The day after the show, we had a day off, so we decided to stay another night at the hotel. Here some pictures from our Sunday walk in town:

A drawer is a component of a piece of furniture that is most often shaped as a short, wide topless box and is used for storage. It is generally part of another, larger piece of furniture such as a dresser and may be pulled out from it partway or most of the way to access its contents. Drawers can be built in a variety of manners using a variety of materials. Wood and sheet metal are common materials used for drawers and the furniture the drawers are part of.
On our way to Vienna, we did a quick stop at everybody's favorite place in the world: Excalibur City. I filmed some stuff that might end up in the music video for "Black metal fairies".
In Wien we stayed at our good friend Janis' place. Always a great pleasure. Our #1 austrian!
In the evening we played at the new venue for the vienna songwriting association: Cabaret Fledermaus. Very nice place in the central part of town. Great audience as always. Thanks for your support. We had a great time, both on and off stage. Special thanks to Klaus, Hannibal, Andy and the rest of the personnel for taking care of us. Thanks also to Anna (Paper Bird) and of course Janis for being great persons and showing us a really good time.
After the show we went to Janis' club d'hommage who had a mixtape exchange evening.
This is also where we met Marilyn Manson's son Tobbe Manson for the very first time.
On thursday, we had a nice day off. We walked and walked and then we walked some more. We visited:
a big music store
a playground (the guy to the right was not happy with us taking pictures).
a table tennis club (the fur sausage stopped by for a quick sniffi-sniffi)
an ice skating paradise
On friday morning, I did an acoustic session at Radio FM4. I played three songs: Dinosaur drugs, Follow the herd and Nobody's fault.
Upon arrival in Prague, we stopped by at the radio station, Radio Wave, where I did an interview. You can listen to it here.

Since the fall of the Iron Curtain, Prague has become one of Europe's (and the world's) most popular tourist destinations. It is the sixth most-visited European city after London, Paris, Rome, Madrid and Berlin. Prague suffered considerably less damage during World War II than some other major cities in the region, allowing most of its historic architecture to stay true to form. It contains one of the world's most pristine and varied collections of architecture, from Art Nouveau to Baroque, Renaissance, Cubist, Gothic, Neo-Classical and ultra-modern.
Unfortunately, our show at the Modra Vopice got cancelled due to these guys showing up:
To celebrate this misfortune, we went out and partied with this guy:

Berlin's power supply is mainly provided by the Swedish firm Vattenfall and relies more heavily than other electricity producers in Germany on lignite as an energy source.
Technical mumbo jumbo.
Thanks to the people who came to the show at the NBI. Thanks also to the ballet dancer, our nice support act Erving and to Robert for putting up the show. Last but not least, thanks to Anne for being such a great little butler.
After a few miles of driving, we got waved in from the Autobahn by our good ol' friend Sitting Bull.
He had put up his tent outside of Mediamarkt, where he also worked nowadays. After catching up with Sitting for a couple of hours, we decided it was time to head back on the road to Berlin.
In the evening, we arrived in Berlin and met up with our hostess Anne.
After getting aquainted, we decided to go to a nice indian restaurant.
As always, our close friend Ali Baba took care of the bill.
Tomorrow we're playing at NBI in Berlin.
The club is called "A Month of Sundays".
You have to come.
Our support act in Leipzig was the swedish band Aerial. Great guys and great music. Thanks for a nice evening! Also big thanks to the audience and the great staff at UT Connewitz for taking care of us.

ALL SHOWS WILL BE UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF OUR GOOD FRIEND MR. KIOSKGREVEN.

DAY 0, 1, 1,5: GÖTBORG - MALMÖ - LEIPZIG [2010.02.24-25]
Final rehearsal in Gbg under the supervision of Frank (aka "Väktar-Bobby").
Gbg - Malmö
Malmö's location in southernmost Sweden makes it closer to the Italian city of Milan than to the northernmost Swedish town Kiruna. In Malmö we stayed in our good friend Martin Bergström's cosy den.
Malmö - Gedser - Rostock - Leipzig
Leipzig's name is derived from the Slavic word Lipsk, which means "settlement where the lime trees stand". Tomorrow [Fri 26.2] we're playing at the beautiful venue UT Connewitz.

Here's a clip of me playing one of my all time favorite songs ("Annie's Song" by John Denver) live in my livingroom. The sound goes straight into a Sony handycam (DCR-SR37) that I borrowed from my friend Danijel Kasunic. I also put a microphone in the kitchen to get a natural(?) reverb/delay effect. I think it turned out pretty good. Hope you like it.
The new album is finished.

Here's the tracklist:
